Empire Exhibits had the privilege to work with the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame to design, fabricate and install the new special interactive experience “Call the Race.” The new exhibit welcomes visitors to try their hand at announcing a horse race.

The exhibit features a sound booth with an “On Air” sign that lights up when the booth is in use. Once inside, visitors can use the touchscreen to select from four race options. The interactive race begins with text prompts on the screen. Once recorded, the visitor may listen to it, try again, or have it sent to them through email. The booth has a photo-op window so friends and family can take photos of the recording. Outside the booth is a seating area with a monitor playing recent recordings.

The exhibit features fabric walls, ottomans, monitor, LED door activated lighted sign, and photo-op window. The sound booth features a panoramic faux window, lighting, microphone, interactive touchscreen, soundproofing, and shelf designed to mimic the call booth at Saratoga Race Course.
